My 7 Science Fiction Book Club introductory offer books arrived yesterday. I am now the proud owner of The Sword of Shanarra Trilogy (3-in-1), Lord of the Rings Trilogy (3-in-1), The Promise of the Witch-King, and four Star Wars books: Outbound Flight, The Dark Nest Trilogy (3-in-1), Labyrinth of Evil, and Legacy of the Force: Betrayal. I look forward to reading those and the several books I borrowed from my parents over the remainder of the year. I’m currently reading The First King of Shanarra and am about halfway through.

Goodbye West Side – Hello East Side
My girlfriend should be here in a few moments to pick me up from work, then we’re on the road to vacation! Booyah!
So I tried the Emperor Ing again last night and kicked his corrupted, mutated, dark, royal bootay with over half my life left. About freakin’ time. Then I grabbed the energy to return to Aether’s Temple and finish the game. This started an eight minute countdown to get to the “light world.” Unfortunately, as I knew was going to happen, Dark Samus blocked my exit.

Argh
So the Emperor Ing is a nasty son of a motherless pygmy goat. Rounds three and four did not go well for me. That final form of his is tough. I had nearly full life when I got to it in round three, but I still died and I’d only caused him to lose one third of his life. Argh. And I’m wanting to beat this on Hard mode with for the 100% ending. Right.
So hot dogs again for lunch. I’ve had them for three days and will again tomorrow. Hey, it’s cheaper than eating out for lunch.
Jethro Gibbs is Cool
I like NCIS. It’s funny and the characters are interesting. I just finished watching the first two discs of the season one DVDs recently released. I’m probably going to get the other two tonight. Yay! My favorite characters are Gibbs and Abby.

The Light Suit is Sweet!
So I just got the Light Suit on Metroid Prime 2 the other night. It’s freakin’ sweet. I’m running around Dark Aether like, “What? What’s that Dark Aether? Poisonous atmosphere? Where? I don’t feel a thing!” *kills another Dark Pirate Commando* “Booyah!”

A Metroid Says “Skree!”
I shall be playing a lot of Metroid Prime 2 while my computer’s down and my girlfriend’s sick. Last night I played it for about 3 hours. I just beat the Torvus Bog and am on my way to the Sanctuary. Sanctuary is as far as I got when I rented this game last time. Now I own it and can beat it all the way. I’m not looking forward to Sanctuary, though. I remember some of the machines I had to fight and they were tough. Oh well. I’m always saying that “hard is good.” I guess the same is for video games. Besides, if it weren’t challenging, it wouldn’t be fun.
