So yesterday, I went to the library and picked up some books I had put on hold. More specifically, I picked up 11 Novels, 1 trade paperback comic, and 1 DVD. Here’s a list:

The Books of History Chronicles by Ted Dekker
Recently, I was talking to someone who had started reading some of Dekker’s books. She had been told to start with Sinner, then read Saint, then Showdown.
If you’ve read the books, you are probably saying the same thing I did: “That’s backwards!”
Of course, if you’ve read the books, you might not be reading this guide.

Freakin’ Sweet Phone!
So I now have my Black Razr. It’s freakin’ sweet compared to my old phone. I’ve got most of my numbers transferred over already and should have the rest tonight. I’m also gonna put my T&T boys’ numbers in there and get pics of them tonight and attach them to their contact entry. It’s just so much fun!
In other news, I’m almost finished with Ender’s Game, then I’m on to The Hunter’s Blades Trilogy. Ender’s Game is one of the best books I’ve read, EVAR. I will be adding the whole series to my Christmas list.
99 Books to Read on the Shelf, 99 Books to Read
Here’s a list of the books I own that I haven’t read yet. Why? Because I want to list them out. That’s why.

“You’re My Mississippi”
In Star Wars news, Jacen is now teetering dangerously close to where Anakin was in Episode III. Only difference is that it’s about his daughter as opposed to his wife, of which he has none. He has wiped Ben’s memory and started a war so far. What else might he do? I know from a few lines that I read that he’s also in the heart of the conflict in the Legacy of the Force series that started earlier this year.

Six And A New Website
I know I missed yesterday’s blog. Oh well. Can’t go back and post one now.
I finished my friend’s photography website last night. Check it out. She does awesome photography and is trying to sell prints of her photos. E-mail her from her website if you see one you want.

Queen Down; Swarm Is Next
I finished the Unseen Queen last night. Good book. A lot shorter than the Joiner King, though. I love the fact that the Jedi are back to moral absolutism in this one, but some of them are still being stupid. Oh well. Can’t fault a fictional character for being stupid if that’s the way the author writes them.

Trophy Hunt
I’ve taken a break from Chain of Memories to get the last few trophies I don’t have on Super Smash Bros Melee. I have a few more characters I have to take through the Adventure and All-Star modes to get all the character trophies. After that is taking a character through Adventure on Normal and getting through it in 18 minutes to face Giga-Bowser for his trophy. Then beating Adventure and All-Star on Hard or very hard for acouple more. Then I just have a few more little ones to get. I have all the random ones (the ones you get randomly from Adventure or All-Star mode or the lottery). Wish me luck.
I’ve also started on the Unseen Queen. So far so good. The best part is that Luke has brought the Jedi back to a Light Side vs. Dark Side thinking again. He learned a lot in The Joiner King. Go Luke!
Like Father, Unlike Son
Luke almost pulled a Vader. He almost killed someone with the Force Grip power, like Vader did to so many Admirals in Empire Strikes Back. But Luke stopped himself.
Luke had been wondering about how much the Jedi had changed when he condemned an act only a few pages earlier that he admitted to himself, that under the right circumstances, he would have condoned and encouraged. He also didn’t like watching Mara use Force Lightning. At least he’s starting to come around. Good for you, Luke.

From Idealistic Farmboy to Approver of Torture
You might think I’m talking about a tyrant of some sort. I’m really talking about Luke Skywalker. That’s right. With his new ideology, he approved torture. And it involved his own Jedi Knights as subjects. My, how the mighty have fallen.

The Future of Star Wars
I know the movies are done and over. I’m talking about the books. I recently started Dark Nest I: The Joiner King. Good book so far. In fact, I spent until 4:00am Saturday morning reading it. I do have a concern about it though.

King Down; Nest Up
I finished The First King of Shannara last night. Awesome book. If you like Lord of the Rings or Forgotten Realms books, you’ll probably like this one, too. I kind of knew the ending since I read The Sword of Shannara a few years ago. Anyways, I’m on to the Star Wars: Dark Nest trilogy. After that is Legacy of the Force: Betrayal. These should be interesting being the first few books after NJO.
7 Books, A Dog And A Pair Of Dead Bad Guys
My 7 Science Fiction Book Club introductory offer books arrived yesterday. I am now the proud owner of The Sword of Shanarra Trilogy (3-in-1), Lord of the Rings Trilogy (3-in-1), The Promise of the Witch-King, and four Star Wars books: Outbound Flight, The Dark Nest Trilogy (3-in-1), Labyrinth of Evil, and Legacy of the Force: Betrayal. I look forward to reading those and the several books I borrowed from my parents over the remainder of the year. I’m currently reading The First King of Shanarra and am about halfway through.
